For some reason, I’ve become fascinated with the relationship between Charles Bingley and Jane Bennet. I started to wonder – what do they talk about when they’re alone? In P&P we never really hear much of any conversation between these two lovers. Based on that, I started to imagine what it might be like to listen in when they’re together. I’ve done several posts over the past year that were just about Jane or just about Charles, but last month, I wrote one in which they go walking after their engagement in an attempt to be alone. It was so much fun that I just had to eavesdrop on their wedding night, too. I hope you’ll enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
I’m thinking about pulling together all of my stories about Charles and Jane, adding more and creating a novella about the Bingleys. What do you think?
